Ear stapling???

My dad said I should try it before I waste a few thousand $$ & screw up my body. hmmmmmm. Is this for real? Anyone know if it really works? My sisters friend had hers done & has lost 13#s in 2 weeks. I just don't think this would work for long.

My daddy called me with the same thing this weekend! It hurt my feeling When I told him I didn't think that would work for me he said "Oh, you don't? They said it will curb your appetite" Like that's all I need is to just stop eating so much. UGH! It's not like that at all and I figure you have to get the staple removed eventually..what then? Seems like a good thing for those wanting to loose 10 or 20 lbs but not serious weight loss. Besides how many of these fades have I already tried only to loose for a few weeks/months and gain more back. I know they are trying to help us it just comes off as critisim sometimes. They love us and we have to remember that.

J~ Do you know where the clinic is in Madison? A friend asked me where, and I don't know. She wants to try it. They are somewhere around here, but I haven't a clue! Thanks! Kimberly

Well i hate to tell ya but even the WLS wont work for long if you don't change your eatting and exercise habits. So anything you do you have to make a lifestyle change. dont know that i would want a staple in my ear for a lifetime!haha

ear stapling is very unsanitary and infectious. It is only to cause the person to reach up and fiddle with that staple instead of eat. Put a staple in your shirt sleeve and fiddle away but don't injure your body with that. My opinion only. Jane
