Dawn you can take your Loratab and it will help. My doctor told me that if you take motrin take an pepcid ac or something similar first! Do not make a habit of taking NSAIDS but once in a while is ok. Just take the pepcid FIRST! I had asked because of my painful monthly things.... Hope this helps. Talk to you soon. Amy

Thanks Amy i took my loratab and put a bengay heat patch on it and it does feel better. I was kinda thinking that once in a while a little motrin wouldn't kill me! lol It's nice to know that you have tried it and are still living! hehe

Hi Dawn, sorry for the late response. Either would probably be fine, though the coated meds will definately be tolerated more easily. It is also important to remember that the lortab also is high in tylenol, so be careful if you take over-the-counter tylenol or ibuprophen with it an the effect it can have on your liver enzymes. Good luck, james.
