Bash Plans

We had discussed having a party/dance where we get to dress up and dance a little. Well, every center here is Hattiesburg is booked til the end of the year. The Petal Civic Center has their big room available on April 15, 2006. That is the only Saturday available til September. It is where all the proms are held in this area. So it is pretty busy this time of year. She put us down for that day temporarily. I have 5 days to get back with her and let her know for sure and put the deposit down. The cost for that room is 100.00 for 4 hours and a 50.00 security deposit which is refundable as long as we clean up according to their policies when it is over. We can have the room from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. I haven't found a DJ or gotten any prices as far as that goes. But once we know the cost of everything and how many plan to come we can determine how much each couple coming will need to pay in order to cover the cost. We can all bring a finger food and drinks and not worry about catering that or anything. I know we can all cook from attending past functions. We got food covered. Let me know what you think about the date and if that is doable for most people. I realize that Saturday is Easter weekend, but that is all that is available anywhere around here. We can just forget it if that is what everybody wants to do. And plan it for another time or we can have it somewhere else. In someone else's neck of the woods. Melissa

I will be there if ya'll are ! I will be stag though hubby will be in Moblie that week , I think , there boat has to go in that yards!GRRRRRRRRR I guess that means is Sara comes she will be stag too , so she will be my date! haha J/K i know you dont like me to play like that! sorry!

Unfortunately I will still be out of town that weekend, so I will not be able to attend. My cruise comes back on April 13, but we will not come home until the 15th or 16th. If I can work it out where we can come home on Friday, I will try, but it is very doubtful, I want to spend some time with my parents. Thank you for checking on all of the places, and stuff. I am sure there will be plenty of people that will want to do it that weekend. I would offer something down here, but it would be way to hard to find a place to stay for everyone. Not to mention the only convention rooms available are probably at the casino, and a lot of people will not come to the casino even for that. Rhonda

We are at the in-laws for Easter weekend, so will not be able to that weekend....maybe Arlies or somebody can come up with somewhere else another time, or there will still be enough positives for that weekend. You're so sweet to be putting this together...D.

We have Easter at my mom's that day. Sorry. I do want to do a luncheon in April for a Friday so Rhonda can come. Maybe the Friday after Easter. We could work on that. Even sooner if you want. Is Rhonda out of town the 7th of April? We might could get together that day. Love ya Jane

I am out of town the 7th, we are leaving on the 7th to go to GA, then the 8th we leave out of Jacksonville to go on our cruise, come back from cruise on the 13th and then will be back in Biloxi on the 16th. I am free the Friday of 21st April and the 5th of May. Maybe we can plan something for one of those weekends. Rhonda

I am going to cancel that room. Everyone seems to be tied up that Saturday as I thought. We will have this dance/party so that we can all dress up in our formal wear and look pretty and have a great time. It just won't be right now. Maybe something will come up somewhere else as I think it would be lots of fun to get all dressed up and dance the night away. Everything here is just booked solid. The lady told me it has to do with Fema still on some of it. One of the centers still has FEMA in there and they can't even rent it right now. We will try to set this up again later, I promise. Thanks for your efforts of trying to put this together. Sorry that I can't make it that weekend, but I will be out of town. This weekend is the last weekend I will be home for four solid weekends. I am open for anything the weekend of April 28-30 or May 12-14 if we can come up with something on one of those days. Those are my Friday's off, so I can do lunch or we can get away for a weekend thing. Just let me know.. Love ya! Rhonda

OOPs I put the wrong weekends, it is actually April 21-23 and May 5-7 that I am available. Maybe we can plan something for one of those Fridays to have lunch in Hattiesburg. I really likes Chesterfields, did not care much for O'Charleys though. Rhonda

I don't care for O'Charley's either. If we have a lunch, I would like it to be at Chesterfield's or even somewhere else. But the last couple of times I ate at O'Charley's I was very disappointed. Lunch is good. Just whenever. Doesn't matter to me. I will be working no matter when it is. So I will just take my lunch hour and come for a little bit to see everyone. Just let me know. Melissa
