Now, before we have our Proverb, here's a lesson in WHY we have the Book of Proverbs: Proverbs 1:1 - 6 , "The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: for attaining wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of insight; for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair; for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young - let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance - for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise." BTW, have I told you that I am using the "New International Version" of the Bible? Now for today's mini-sermon and proverb: You've heard "confession is good for the soul", right? Where does that come from? Why is it good for you to admit you've goofed up to your support group? What good does it do to confess that you ate the Reesie cup or took a bite of that brownie? Why should you own up to your mistakes rather than hide them? Proverbs 28:13, "He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." Smoochies Arlies PS STay tuned because tomorrow, we will learn what happens to those little eye-rolling rugrats at your house!!!!
