Just a quick post to thank Arlies for coming to sit with me while I waited for surgery--things went well (though it took longer than I expected--was about a 4 hour surgery). I ended up with an open roux-en-y. we actually thought we were going to go for the duodenal switch, but didn't have to. i was told, however, no more revision for me. this is it. after a few long days in the hospital, I'm home. but no where is comfortable. no position is comfortable. and today I started passing some gas and THAT hurts, too. thanks for support. ii'll be reading for more. if anyone talks ot Arlies, tell her I hope she's better soon. she was such a sweetie. mary
