Does anybody in Meridian do psych evaluations?

It's been two weeks and I'm still waiting on approval from my insurance company, but I wanted to go ahead and schedule my psych evaluation with someone. A co-worker of mine just got her insurance approval letter after two weeks and her psych evalutation appt. is two weeks from now. So, I figured if I go ahead and schedule my psych evaluation, so by the time my appointment date came, I would already have my approval letter. And No, I am not even considering the fact that they might deny me. It's unacceptable! Anyway, I know CMMC has 3 psychologist/psychiatrist that they use in Jackson, but does anyone know of any here in Meridian that do psych evaluations? Thanks for any help you can give me! Jackie

Yes there is Dr Gilbert aka James Gilbert in that area I do believe and he has his own practice now if I am not mistaken and I may be. Good luck Barry

they are right doc. james gilbert. I don't know if he does psych eval for the surgery but his is a psyco doc. Steph

Dr. Gilbert did my psy eval and he is a percious man.He does practice out of his home office privately, but I think he also works for one of the hospitals also in Meridian. He is a very caring and understanding doctor and also he has been there done that too. Call him. Dr.James Gilbert Smiles,Jan

psyco doc did my eval also! he is wonderful! And he understands where were comming from because he has been there himself! He is AWSOME!! The queen should have his numbers...i cant seem to locate them.
