Day of beauty

I have an idea! Could we meet somewhere and have a day of beauty? We would focus on our improving beauty instead of snacking. We could do each others nails. Invite a hair stylist or makeup technician to teach us how to improve our beauty. Facials, eyebrows shaped. Does anyone know a retail store or two that might be interested? Where are the Mary Kay, Avon, and Merle Norman fans???? Any hair stylist out there ? Everyone could bring some of the tried and true beauty aids they use and find to be helpful to show and tell about. One of my favs is "Look Ma New Hands" from Bath and Body Works. I could bring my parafin wax hand spa for every one to moisturize their hands. I am tired of winter. And I want to see yall. I have a few days off soon and can travel. glenda

I could volunteer my mom's house in Semicary Sanford area. We could get this together. I could get a few "professionals" to come and support our beauty get together. Just pick a date and I will see what's up that day. Maybe one Saturday at noon until----Just a thought. Jane

Jane, My dad moved around alot while he was young but lived in Sanford, Seminary area & I have heard a zillion stories from back then. Wouldn't surprise me (if your family has lived there a long time) if my dad knows them. LOL he knows everyone.

hey glenda ....great idea....im a mary kay consultant and i need the practice for sure! our time wise face cleanser is fab and we have microdermabrasion, and satin hands too!!! let me know and i will be there with bells on.i love doing that stuff with other people. crystal green

Okay... just tell me one thing, Glenda.... Did you come up with this day of beauty thing BEFORE or AFTER you looked at my recovery photos?!?!? Haha... I have had three people tell me I need to highlight my hair.

Before Doll!!! I must fix myself before I can throw stones too hard. I had looked at my pitiful eyebrows w/ my glasses on and saw needed some advice on other things too. A lighter hair color and maybe a new style. I need some new glasses too. My frames are now the wrong size and won't stay up. You would think that since my part time job is vision wear I would have found some new ones. But th e truth be known I saved my money for my plastic surgery. A great choice in the long run. I talked w/ Arlies about it recently too. I have slacked up on fixing my face lately myself. I can't believe I came to work today with only powder on my face. My students are inquisitive about what's wrong. ( cold, runny nose, atery eyes and I overslept again) Seems I can only go to sleep when its time to get up. glenda
