I had a pretty good day. My eating habits are back where they need to be since gaining my coping mechanism back. The exercise is definitely my life line. I had a rough six weeks when I could not get to the gym. Before I have surgery again I am making sure I have a backup plan for during the recovery period LOL. B low sugar cinnamon oatmeal S deli turkey and 1 slice cheese L grilled chicken salad with ranch S 1/2 apple with 1 pc string cheese D 1/2 baked potato with homemade chili and shredded cheese S 1/2 c. no sugar added blue bell ice cream with 2 sf mini white chocolate reeses sprinkled on top; 1 sm spoon fudge sauce Went to the Y during my lunch break. Drank 36 oz of water plus other liquids throughout the day. And took all of my vitamins. Melissa 277/134

Hey girl i have been avoiding this post like the plague all weekend!LOL I ate way more cheetos than i care to admit! I also had a biscut and a whole fried chicken breast from popeyes sunday! I can't seem to get a handle on the hunger, after i exercise, it feels like TRUE hunger not head hunger its driving me nuts! And TIPS? B~1/2 cup protein plus special k cereal with skim milk L~5 pieces of a sushi roll , from the grocerie store, and 3 barbequ chicken chunks-kids lunch-grrrrrr! S~way too many peanut butter filled pretzels and 1 oz of beef jerky D~1/2 of a baked chicken breast, 1 tbs of rice pilaf , and 5 asparagus spears. I drank a TON of water today! A girl had a neat scale at the gym today that some how it can read if you are getting enough water or not, well guess what it said that i was dehidrated! LOL And that scale says that i wt about 15 lbs more than mine too , but so does the one at curves, so im guessing im a Whole lot heavier than i thought! GRRRRR I have been thinking that i have lost way more than i have! Im embarrassed and humilated, that i have been lieing to myself and everyone else for that matter! Im very upset about finally comeing to the realazation that my scales are the ones that are wrong! SO ya'll dont every ask me how much i wt , or how much i have lost , cause i will cry! Im working VERY HARD , I feel Great , i dont think i LOOK that Awful, but the scales tell a differant story!! OK im sorry i didnt mean to lay all that on ya'll this am, it just came out !LOL Ok off to SPIN class, now!!!!!!!!

As far as the exercise and hunger go, that is normal. Try to eat a really good high protein snack about 30 to 45 minutes before you go to the gym. And make sure to have something quick and easy and high in protein to eat when you get back. And drink water the whole time you are working out. That helps. The exercise will pay off, you will see results. It just takes a little time so stick with it. You look great. Don't put too much emphasis on the scales. Easier said than done I know. I am a slave to them myself. Vent anytime you feel like it, morning or night it doesn't matter. It helps to get it out. Melissa

That is a good idea to fill up on protein before exercise so that you will not be so hungry when you finish your routine! I want to hear all about the exercise, I think that is what I need now, I have a lot of wrinkled skin that I am hoping will tighten over the next few months! I have been massaging lotion into the skin in hopes that keeping it moisturized that it will be better. I have always liked those super big thermos cups cause they can go everywhere with you and having it there means that you can drink and it is very cold. Bottled water does not appeal to me after it gets hot! I think you are doing great so far, just keep working on it!!! Cheryl

It is a traditional Korean Dish. We love it. It is slices of beef or chicken or pork cooked with a sweet & spicy sauce with onions and carrots and served with white sticky rice. The sauce is kind of like the General Chicken at Chinese restaurants. You will have to come down here and eat it with us one day. It is YUMMY.. We eat there for lunch almost daily! Rhonda
