Update on my Prayer request!

To everyone praying for Daytona, THANK YOU. I spoke to my pastor around noon & he said he had just gotten off the phone with her mom. She is now talking & doing great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm supose to call my pastor later to get more info because he was only on the phone with her long enough to hear the good news & was supose to call back in a few minutes. He did tell me she is at (sorry if I get this wrong) University of Southern Alabama Womens & Childrens hospital in Mobile. She is in the ICU but maybe getting a room since she is better. I want to send her flowers or something. Not sure what. If my pastor is going in the next few days I could buy her a gift & send it with him. Anyone have any suggestions on what to get her? I may get my pastor to talk to her mom first to see if there's anything special she needs/wants. I'm so happy. I was so worried about her. Thank God! *hugs* Melissa

I talked to her mom tonight & got the address. She still has a pretty bad headache & can't sit up. She will be there for a minimum of 14-21 days because she is recieving alot of antibiotics& has to have them that long to fight it. They are pretty sure it's a bacterial type of miningitis & are doing tests to pinpoint which kind. If anyone is interested in sending her a get well card (yeah, I know ya'll don't know her but she's just a little girl) let me know & I'll send the address to you. email me at [email protected] please put "Daytona" in subject line so I'll know its not spam.
