Ok I thought since noone had done this today I might give it a shot. What if anything did you do for your other half for valentines? I bought her stuffed animals and balloons and suprised her by letting her sleep late and just lounged all day. Bought her dinner so she didnt ahve to cook. How often do you go to support meetings or read up on the latest news of Bariatric Patient info. I try to go every month sometimes I get in a slump and miss one or so but I really need em and cant wait till the one on Monday in Hattiesburg, I wanted to go to the one last night in Jackson but being Valentines and all I didnt get away. How many ( if any) have plateaued(sp) and how long has it lasted? Well I am stuck kinda now at the 190-192 loss area and was hoping to break that 200 lb mark before my one year anniversary checkup next month so we will see. and lastly........ How many of you have or had an angel that is there for you when ever you need them???? I didnt have any One angel but I knew alot of folks on here were checking on me and that meant alot to me. I am being an angel for a lady from Raleigh that had the surgery 8 weeks ago and is alread -67 lbs I am so proud and she knows she can call me at any time she needs to and I will answer any questions she may have. ok that is my quiz for today hope it is ok. 1. I got Donnie a really sweet mushy card! We stayed in and cooked steak and lobster, since we couldnt get a sitter! 2. I go to a support group meeting once a month, and i come read this board and the main board at least 5 times a day!LOL 3.I have had one very long plateau it started about my 4th month seems im still on it im 8mos out now so that would make it a 4 mo long plateau, don't realy sound like a plateau anymore , more like the finish line for me! LOL 4. I don't have anyone angel either , i have lots of friends that i rely on for differant things and they always seem to be there when i start whinning! dawn

I bought him a mushy lovey dovey car, a heart shaped box of chocolates and a sexy hot pink bra & panties set for me to wear for him, of course it was given to him, but I will be the one wearing it.. But I thought it was a neat idea to buy it as a gift to him because he will enjoy it more than I will.. LOL 2.How often do you go to support meetings or read up on the latest news of Bariatric Patient info? I come to this board daily, many times a day in fact, and I plan and organize our monthly support group meeting here, thanks to Hurricane Katrina, so I attend monthly.. 3. How many ( if any) have plateaued(sp) and how long has it lasted? I had sevearl plateaus within the last year, some that lasted as long as 6 weeks, without losing a single pound. Now I am praying for a life long plateau so that I can stay just like I am from now on out. 4. How many of you have or had an angel that is there for you when ever you need them???? Hello Barry!! 1. I bought some super sexy undies(thanks Dawn for the tip on the string) for Tommy to see me in lol and his favorite candy bar with a card. 2.I go to this supportive board several times a day. I try to make some type of meeting or luncheon once every 2 months or so. I hope to be in Hattiesburg this Monday. 3. I have been about the same weight since Christmas time. I have lost inches though so that helps my feelings. That is my 1st plateau since April so I guess that is good. I only weigh every few weeks so I may have had a slow time befoer now and not realized it. 4. No specific angel I don't guess. Angie Bea came to see me at the hosp. Some called. Jane WHat time is the meeting Mon??

I bought him a basket full of goodies and had it sent to his school so he could get good and embarassed in front of his buddies. He is so bashful! I would like to go every month but so far it has worked out to be every other month. I try to read as much info. as I can. This website has been a lifesaver for me. 3. How many ( if any) have plateaued(sp) and how long has it lasted? I hit a stand still a couple of times and it lasted a couple of weeks. 4. 1-Valentines-Got Don a package of super rich Tim-Tams, and he got me a little chocolate on a stick, that I won't eat! We went to dinner and had a big ole ribeye and salad.... Nice evening! We talked about what kind of house we want for our retirement home! 2-Support Meetings- none yet! I go to the board daily and it helps so much to have a lot of support. Am looking forward to meeting a lot of you when I come home in the summer. 3-Plateaus- I had one at about 3 months and it lasted for about 4 weeks and then I realized that my body was readjusting and shifting around. From one day to the next my clothes sometimes fit and then don't fit. Very frustrating. Now I am holding on a weight but my body is still shifting so, I think that it is going to be another drop. Everyone now says that I should stop but I do not think that I am down enough yet to maintain that weight for a long time..... So, I will just keep trying to do the right thing! 4-Angels-There are so many on this board and all of you have looked out for me so much and asked questions for me and given me worlds of info which helps when you are on the other side of the world and not able to get to anyone to get the info, most of the time. Arlies called me faithfully daily while I was so ill and I will always appreciate that and I believe that she will have many stars in her crown for all that she does!!! I got Jim the 70th Anniversary Edition of Monopoly and a bag of Russell Stover Chocolate covered Almonds. I got a dozen roses from him and Em got a long stem rose from him. I gave Em a strawberry planter that you hang and it looks like a ball of strawberries! and some chocolate bonbons. Jon is getting the new Stephen King book, Cell, and some chocolate bonbons! How often do you go to support meetings or read up on the latest news of Bariatric Patient info. I do try to go to AT least one per month, but don't always make it. Haven't been to one in SEVERAL months!!! Bad me! But I usually check the board at least twice a day - depending on whether I have someone here to play with or not!!! Rhonda came to the hospital at least 3 times each day I was there and Jay came once or twice a day...Andie came and checked on me once a day....and Sherry Penn and Angie Bea entertained my honey while I was enjoying the services of Doc J. And EVERYBODY, short of God (and He was there with me) called me once or twice while I was in the hospital...I wish I'd kept a record of the calls.....
