Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day today. As I sent my kids off to school today, my 8 yr. old with a colorful box to receive valentine's cards in and my 13 yr. old twins with gifts for their girlfriends, I realized that this is what today is all about; being able to make your loved ones happy. Even though today is my 14th anniversary and I know my husband, who is in Texas, didn't even think about getting me a card- less what an actual gift(like every other Valentine's Day, Christmas, and Birthday before), I am happy because I know my kids are happy today. And even though I love to give gifts to my family and friends, I will cherish the day when I find someone who truly loves me and will shower me with gifts, preferable diamonds! Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy and blessed Valentine's Day and don't forget to do something special for that special person in your life.

Hey, thanks, and Happy Valentine's Day to you too...My DH did remember to at least tell me even though we had been arguing the night before (over money of course, or lack thereof, - it is the only time we seem to argue), but this AM he told me he loved me anyway and Happy V day...Sometimes it is the little things that count, little reassurances and such.....Anyhow, my kids did go off to school lookin cool for the parties today. 6yo girl wearing pink pants and shirt with rhinestones shaped like heart, and 9yo boy in khakis and long sleeved T-shirt type shirt....They do make life fun...Thanks for the reminder...D.
PS. Anxious to hear about a surgery date from ya...I'm in Jackson/reservoir area, so let us know and we'll be around for surgery if you need anything.
Right back at ya! My DH believes Valentine's Day is a day created by women for women to have another reason to get a present. He is a synic. He did however buy me a treadmill. I know that doesn't sound romantic but he did it as a gesture of support for me and my WLS endeavor. I found that to be quite sweet. I live in a rural community where the nearest gym is 45 minutes away. I sent Aiden off to day care with sacks filled with goodies and treats for his fellow playmates and valentine sugar cookies. I hope everyone else has a wonderful V-day as well.
