Anyone denied able to find different Ins. Co. to cover WLS?

Just curious if anyone was denied or had insurance with the exclusion policy, were you able to find an individual insurance policy that would cover WLS? I have searched and seached and can not find an insurance company with an individual policy that does not have the exclusion policy for WLS. I know I would probably have a 12 month wait with a new insurance company, but it is the only way I will be able to have this surgery - now that my VR funding has fell thru. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield - State and they will absolutely NOT cover the surgery for any reason. So I was going thru VR, but I found out Monday that VR is no longer funding the surgery. Now I am trying to find an Individual medical insurance policy that will cover the surgery. Any suggestions? Thanks, Marci
