My eye surgery today

I had lasik eye surgery done today and it went well. I am not in pain. Just dry eyes and maybe a little scratchy. I slept the whole evening away. I fell fine but some groggy. They give you xanax and that is very relaxing. They like to have your eyes closed alot for the day so they will stay moist. Just wanted you to know I am fine and can see without my old glasses. My dream at about 15 yrs old was to be skinny and no glasses--I am getting there. Slowly but surely. Later Jane I have been lurking today but don't feel up to posting on everybody's post. I will be back in business peobably by Friday. Someone take Thursdays getting to know you. xxoo

Congrats, girl. I am glad everything went so well. My sister wants to have that done and get rid of her glasses and contacts. Hope you feel better quick. Melissa

Congratulations, I so wish I could do that. My doctor said that lasik would correct two of my vision problems but I would still need glasses for the third problem, so I said whats the use?? I have been wearing glasses since I was 2 years old so it's not biggy.. I am happy for you! Rhonda 240/117
