Update on Sonya
My heart rate is dropping to 35 beats per minute when I sleep. One area of my heart quits working but the secondary section takes over. This is a condition that I have dealt with for years prior to surgery. I asked the doctor if the wls is causing any of this. She said absolutely not.
I do need your prayers that the meds. they are trying me on will work. In three weeks, they will monitor me again. If this is not successful, I will need a pace maker.
Love y'all,
Sonya
DeAnna,
I have had this for so long that I think that I am used to making myself go even when I do not feel like it. Before surgery, I kept passing out. The cardiologist just blamed it on my weight. Now that the weight is almost gone, they are starting to actually worry.
HMMMM...could it be the fat lady knew what she was talking about when she said I do not feel good.
I get so upset when I see how nice people are to me now that I am a size 10-12. When I was a size 24-26, the only advise they could give me is lose weight and you will feel better.
Sorry to rant and rave!
Sonya
my prayers are with you Sonya....that the meds will do the job....i know what you mean about when you're larger that everyone thinks all your problems are due to your weight...in my case and alot of others, that's not true...i think more of it is genetic than from the weight....among other things....it's amazing to me though how people treat those of us who are overweight....well, some people...it's like we have some disease or something...i'm so glad my parents taught me that it's what's on the inside that matters; not on the out....and to respect everyone....wish more people felt that way....let me get off my soapbox..lol....take care of yourself and i know that God will take care of you.
