Get to know you Sunday
ok so its five people and why would I invite them? Geez that aint all that hard Dawn... hehehe
1.) Dawn
2.) Sara
3.) my dad
4.) W
5.) Stan Sigman
Dawn cuz I miss her and I wish she lived closer to me, same goes for Sara. Now I have no one to go shopping with *sniff *
My dad because he passed away when I was ten and we never got to have an adult-to-adult conversation, there's a lot of things I would love to ask him.
W because I think he's doing a good job and I just want to tell him that.
Stan Sigman, to discuss my career and to tell him I really would love to get a leading position with the company and make big money
As for WHAT we would serve.. well , I guess whatever is cheap since I'm always broke, so this would be hot dogs and cool aid lol.
Great conversation can be over any food, and personally I don't care what or IF we eat anyways, so there
1. My father: He died when I was 6 yrs old. I didn't have time to learn simple things: his life before me, my Oswalt family line, what he did in the war, what it was like growing up in his family. Those are the things I would like to know. I would fit in every question I could to learn more about him.
2. Robin Williams: I think he so funny. I would just let him take over and make me laugh until I hurt. No topic in particular just anything that came to his mind.
3. Leonardo DaVinci: Just so he could clear up all this crap that has plagued the news with the book The DaVinci Code. I'm tired of seeing it on every channel I like to watch: TLC, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel. I read the book just to see what all the hoopla was about. The book was well written but I do not believe it to be factual.
4. Oprah Winfrey: I would choose her as well. She is so charismatic. She has an energy and life about her. She is charitable and always rooting for the common man. She is humble and is never afraid to admit she was wrong. I would like to chat about lessons she's learned and how to be so uplifting.
5. Osama Bin Ladin: I want to know how one man can be so evil. I want to know how taking a human life sets everything right. Then I would turn around and call the authorities and collect the 25 million dollar reward for him! That would pay for my WLS and a whole heck of a lot more.
I would serve to the first 4 guests....Grilled steaks with Garlic Butter Sauce, Scalloped sweet potatoes and apples, garden salad with the trimmings, Corn on the Cob and Yeast Rolls.
I would stuff down Osama's throat a Big Mac extra value meal supersized with a coke because it doesn't get more American than that!!!!!
That is an awesome response!! I loved the Osama one, I would have never thought to invite him, but that would be a good one to have a long conversation with! Not to mention to turn him into the authorities and collect the reward money.
Dinner sounds yummy... makin me hungry~~ Of course the big mac sounds good too, but I would never do that...
Love,
Rhonda
1. My granny Clark--she was so sweet and my friend. She was full of wisdom and we would talk about my life and how it could be made better and how I am doing with things and she would make me feel proud but help me to think about it seriously. We would have her potatoes and spam dish that I love so much. And corn bread so she could pinch the edges off and eat them.
2. My hero was always Clara Barton. She was the greatest person to me when I was about 10-12 years old. I read her biography over and over. I would like to talk to her and jus****ch the power and independence she had over her life come out in her discussions. She would probably love telling about her escapades and dealings with sick folkes. We would have beef stew and fresh yeast rolls with butter. And lots of iced tea.
3. Our president--I would like to tell him I am proud of some of the decisions he has made and how he doesn't hide his faith while serving our country. I would like to hear more about his family and how he was taught as he grew up with the his dad and mom. I would share my experience of salvation with him and we would have prayer together.
I suppose we would have my famous chicken gumbo with a salad and more iced tea.
4. My best friend Susan--We don't have time together like we want to--talk about personal and up close things. I would unload on her and have her talk back to me about these things. We would laugha nd have a good time.
5. The woman in the bible that had the alabaster box of oil and giv eit to Jesus. She was not the most noble of people and the crowd whispered about her as she anointed Jesus with it. She was taunted for wasting such precious oil and ointment on her Lord but she didn't care. I love that story and can't wait to meet her.
I suppose everyone should be served the same food but each person is so different I chose a different thing for the most part. I hope this makes sense. AND Dawn---Jim is mine. War is proclamed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love ya
Jane
