Initial consult followup & trailer report

Well Guys.... I had my appointment with the nurse practitioner today @ CMMC. I guess it went okay. Basically, she reviewed the questions that I'd completed on the health questionnaire @ the seminar. She informed me that she would submit a letter of necessity to BCBS MS although we all know that it will be declined, but I guess that is formality. Also, I did speak with Adam. He informed me that CMMC had decreased the price of WLS by almost.........................................$10,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was very excited to hear this. So for you self payers, keep this in mind. Now, I guess it's a matter of me getting my funds in order. Now, the trailer. An adjuster called this morning and said that my homeowners policy would cover up to $1,000. This was kind of disheartening, but be thankful for the blessings anyway they come. Also, we are continuing to pray that somehow, some way in God's will that He will allow the trailer to resurface. So please continue to pray for its return. My sis has an appointment on 1-26-06 @ CMMC for a revision. She's truly a DOLL!!! My honey was very impressed that before we arrived, "The Queen" was there. He said that this is truly a support group. Queen, thank you for your kindness and the compliments. It's truly woderful to have someone in your corner when you're the new kid on the block. Also, your demeanor just puts everyone at ease. I really enjoyed my visit today with you and I, well we (Honey and I) plan to come to the next shin dig. I'm so glad things went well today. What great news on the self-pay. I look forward to meeting you at support groups! I love Dr. Cleveland and his staff. I had the most encouraging and wonderful appointment with him just the other day. Keep us posted on how things go. HUGS Kimberly

Look to the right when you are typing a post and there is a drop down box that says "message emoticons" - also one that says "Title emoticons" . Click the little arrow....then I copy and paste the one I want or just type it in! It's eazy-peazy lemon squeezey! I had THE BEST time yesterday!!! Not only did I meet you two wonderful folks, I came home with several new names and email addys! I was so tickled to get to meet you! And that hubby!! WOOHOO!!! What a doll!!! Hey Ree Ree, I'm so glad that you had a great time yesterday. That is always good news !!! And a drop in their charges is also great. That will make a big difference to a lot of people. I wish your insurance would pay more towards the trailer, but I guess they are "paid out" like most all of the insurance companies right now. Hi ReeRee!...i hope and pray that ya'lls trailer does show up...even in bad times like we had with the hurricane, it's sad that there are still some folks out there *****sort to stealing....instead of helping.....i'm glad that your insurance company is at least going to help you some....i wish you the best of luck with things for your surgery....when i started this journey a year and 3 months ago, i prayed that if the Lord didn't want me to have it, he'd put obstacles in my way until the time was right...well, my husband had 2 heart attacks....he is doing great now though and i'm hoping for my surgery next month....so, what i'm saying is, don't give up!....God has a plan for you...and me....we'll get there!...take care and best of wishes!... Hey Ree Ree! That's great news about CMMC. I am new to board. I had my first seminar with Dr. C and Adam 1/17 in Vicksburg. He said they were looking to decrease so I am so glad it went thru. I'm BCBS with WLS exclusions. I'll be self pay. My appt with NP is 2/2. I'm ready to get it over with and get the ball rolling. Hello everyone else! I'm really enjoying your posts.
