Very Positive Turn

We got excellent news on my father this afternoon. He has normal kidney function back. The doctors said it was definitely trauma and dehydration induced kidney failure, and now that the leg is being taken care of the kidneys are able to start back functioning. He is out of ICU and in a regular room now. He still has a long recovery ahead with the numerous clots left in the right leg, but we can handle that. He will be on cumadin for the rest of his life due to the clots, but that is okay. At least his kidneys are back working, and he is alive and back to normal. My mom said she knew he was back to normal when he started whining and complaining LOL. She said she was never so glad to hear it though. We attribute his recovery to the numerous prayers and our faith in prayer. Thank you so much for caring and remembering us during this scary experience. Love you guys, Melissa

HALLELUJAH!!!! I am so glad his kidneys are working again! And folks say there are no miracles anymore! Little do they know! I hope and pray that everything will continue to go well. Yep, grumpiness is a sure sign that one is getting better! Smoochies Arlies

That is great news! I am so relieved as I know you are. So, how are you holding up? Soreness starting to go away yet? I hope you are feeling much better.
