Tribute to our better halves.....

I, along with Jane, and some of you others are feeling really sad today about Joie Culpepper, wife of Randall Culpepper, and I know that RAndall valued and cherished Joie and that this will be hard for him....So in tribute to all the spouses and partners of ourselves, I'd like to know if you and your spouse/partner have a song....What is your song? Our "special song" is by Aerosmith. This song came out around the time Hubby and I first met and every time we hear it, it reminds us both of how it all began He was working offshore at the time we had just met and I'd always hear it and think about him and wished he'd come home. There was no communication with the guys when they were "out", so one day out of the blue, I was just sitting around listening to music and this song played, my doorbell rang and I opened the door and he greeted me with a big hug and kiss... the rest is history ( aka the little BLONDE in the pictures LOL ). I love Dan Fogelberg, I used to just sit and listen to his music when I was a teener...Me and Jim ain't got no song, we ain't that romantic, but I love him terribly. He is always there for me and the kids. Just when I think we are just in the same house or get caught up in "life", late at night he just snuggles me up, and I do not know what I would do without him....Joie and Randall are definately in my thoughts and prayers today. I am so very Thankfull that I tell my hubby that I love him, give him hugs & kisses him everyday. I don't know what I'd do without him in my life !!! He is my world. My everything. The day I met him I knew that we were going to get married. And I even went home & told my parents that I had met the man I was gonna marry. So yes................ Love at first sight is real !!!!!!!!!! The next weekend we went out & then 2 years later we were married. On Valentines Day no less The funny thing is, that even now we get really excited when we are gonna see each other. The giddy & happy feelings are still the same as when we were dating.
