H'burg luncheon

I really enjoyed the luncheon and couldn't believe how skinny everyone was. I couldn't believe the difference in everyone. Arlies looked so thin and seemed to feel great. I am so glad for all of us. We are all blessed and I was glad to see Rhonda after the storm and all we have been through. I hope we can do this more often. It really helps me and I can't seem to get to the support meetings. I know I should though. I pray for Mellissa's dad and Christine's mom. I am sorry they are having a hard time. When parents get sick it is so scary. I know I lean on my parents and expect them to always be there. One day maybe I will grow up. Em looked great too. She is skinny too and oh how she enjoyed her cake. The bite I took was delish!! This little get togethers always renew me! I wish I was as thin as I looked !!! As Em says, she and I weigh a TON more than we look like! She had a really good time and was so tickled about the cake! She ate ALOT!!! She ate 2 rolls, a blackened trout, sprite, milk and not quite 1/2 the piece of cake....she didn't eat any fries or salad so she had a really high protein meal (except for the cake! and rolls!). She says she is thru eating until Thanksgiving now! Jim swears it was the best steak he EVER had....and he had lots of fun - totally blown away by Rhonda! (I may have to hurt him!) Jim came home and went to bed. Em & I had to do a walmart run. MOre get-togethers, PLEASE!! Smoochies Arlies

Hi Jane! I really enjoyed meeting you the other day. You guys are so great, and everyone looked wonderful. I hope there will be more get-togethers in the future... It is just so nice to be able to sit and talk to everyone, and get to know them in person! Marci
