Melissa Update

Just wanted everyone to know that I talked to her this morning and she sounded fine and calm. John called at 8:15 and said they just took her back. He said it was really cool watching them draw on her with the Sharpie. Surgery should last about 5 hours. Yall think about her and pray that everything goes smoothly. This is my best friend in there under the knife. I am going up there around 2 hoping she is in recovery...

Thanks for the update. I have been thinking about her and praying that she will have a successful uneventful surgery. She will be fine, she is such a wonderful woman and God will watch over her. Keep your chin up, and update us as soon as you know something. Thanks. Love, Rhonda

2nd Update: John said they are almost finished - Boobs are finished - she is doing great.

please keep us posted!!! I want to know. At UMC I was marked with a Sharpie and THE POINT OF A NEEDLE A FEW DAYS BEFORE SURGERY. AND AGAIN THE DAY OF SURGERY. Missy is a strong willed determined girl. She will do great.

Chris hold on and keep your faith and you know everything will be okay. I am sending a prayer right now to Melissa, family and friends one and all that she has an uneventful and speedy recovery. This is almost like out surgery date, first you can't wait until it gets here and then Oh my God it's here. She is a very strong woman and will get though anything she sets her mind to. Tell her family today we will do the worrying for her and them, take it to God and leave it there. Take care for now and will talk later .

I want all the gory details when she is back up and functioning!!! I know that I will have to have this done but after my last surgery experience I am a bit afraid....
