GallBladder surgery done and over with

Hello all, I had my gallbladder surgery yesterday, I am up and moving around this morning. I am sore but overall I feel pretty good. I had a hard time sleeping last night because I had to sleep on my back, which I never do. But I called my doc this morning and he is going to give me something to help me sleep. Thank you to all of you that prayed for me. Sara is up next, she has hers done on the 7th, keep her in your thoughts and prayers, she is terrified of another surgery. Love, Rhonda

You sound like things are not going so well. I am here if you need to call me or email me. Remember we are supposed to lean on one another. We've been through alot with one another and know lots about each other and our problems from that therapy weekend. So, don't suffer alone or in silence. Reach out and let us be there for you. I hate you are struggling. I really think that support group for us farther out post ops is a great idea that Joy had. I just hate to spend more money on myself and all my craziness LOL. You know? But I really think I would benefit from it. She is proposing it for once a week for 5 weeks at 35 dollars per meeting, right? I checked into it and that really is a good price as at other places to do a special group session for a five or six week period is 50 per time. I will email you. Melissa

Hey, I am glad things went well and you are feeling pretty good. Poor Sara. I hate surgeries too. Melissa Oh ya, my sis's surgery went well. She had a couple of complications after she got home and had to go back to the emergency room, but she is much better today.

Rhonda glad you are doing good. Try laying on your left side or brace your stomach with a pillow if you lay on your right. That is what I did. I always sleep on my right side. Also put a pillow between your knees. Hope you get some rest. I will try and call Sara this weekend. I am leaving for Colorado Monday to get our son and the animals and pack up the house where we have been staying and will be moving back to MS for good!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!! We will finally be home.
