Update

Hello Everbody, I've enjoyed reading each of your post recently as you can recall i'm in between state lines of MS and TN. I finally have an appointment with Dr. Mudan in Memphis, TN. Its so overwhelming its on 1/13 and they are asking for everything and the kitchen sink.. they even said i'm going to visit the nutri, psyco, and surgeon all in the same day whew thats going to be alot. Only one stickler they are asking for my PCP referral (which i've never gotton) but hopefull will get and diet history of forever and a day.. I'm pretty sure Katrina destroyed all of that information but i'm going to do my best and dig it up. I have my work ahead of me but wish me luck.

After your first visit how long did it take for you to have your surgery. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes.

You can't go by me! I was in line at UMC for over a year when Dr. Blake left and when I went to Keesler, I got to pick my surgery date - they did the surgeries in the order of who needed it most at the time, I think....I could have had it the next week!!! So I am not one to ask. Ask the doctor you are going to how long does it take. SMoochies Arlies

Best of Luck.. I know what you mean about losing records and stuff from Katrina... What a B!#$@ that she was!! She took so many prized possesions from me that can never be replaced... Anyway, no since in dwelling on it.. I am just feeling a bit down and out today... Ugggghhh and now I have to go to the dentist... I truly hate going to the dentist, I have never walked out of a dentist office and felt good... On a positive note, I did get my post op test results in the mail today, finally. My levels are good in everything, my pottasium is a little low so he told me to eat some banana's on a regular basis.. I was glad to see that everything else checked out okay. I have been feeling really good lately and am very glad that I have come as far as I have in such a short time. I am now 10 months post op and down 118 pounds, from a size 22 to a size 4. I hope that everything works out for you. keep us posted. Rhonda

Wow, Congratulations don't be down today everyday is a blessed day.. some are a little harder than others but each day have to have something special along with it. I'm glad you went to the dentist today for your smile can defaintly be as beautiful as your size 4 body and can match the inner beauty that has already radiated outward.
