just checking in

Hey Everybody, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We did. Im just glad its all over. Now to get back to work. Well I have not checked in lately just wanted to say hello. I still have not heard anything from the insurance yet but still waiting. It has not been 6 weeks yet was just hoping it would not take that long but I guess it does sometime. Oh well hope yall have a good week will check back later on... hugs to all.... Tonya

Hi Tonya - glad to see ya posting. I'm with you, had a nice Christmas and all, actually, very nice, but glad it is all over...I am 40 this year, was 38 when I had WL surgery and it has been WONDERFUL. It is NOT the easy way out, and it is something to have to work at (after about 18 months or so), but for me it was well worth it. I could not lose weight any other way, I was even afraid to lose weight, because every time I did I would gain back what I had lost and THEN SOME, and that was scary. I was DETERMINED not to hit 40 and still weigh 300 pounds. Anyway, noticed we were close to the same age, and thought I would give you some perspective from our age group....I have a 6 and a 9 year old (also a 21 and a 19 year old). When I had surgery, I was exercising a lot, and very active, and that made easier. So, if you are not exercising right now, do start walking or whatever you can do, it will help keep your blood flowing and muscles start toning. You'll feel lots better quicker. So, that is my 2 cents for the day. I'm glad you have been around others (in the office?) that you have seen being successful with this surgery, that has to be encouraging also. Well, I hope you find out something soon, and keep us all posted..D.

Hey Tonya, We had a Great Christmas & a Very Happy New Year & I'm glad that you did too. Like you, I'll be glad when everything gets back to normal. I do hope that you hear something soon from your insurance company. Waiting is a very hard thing to do. Trust me..... I know first hand. You'll hear something soon & maybe it will be the answer your wanting. Hope you have a Very Blessed week at work & that you get an answer soon !!! Tammy
