Pretty cool wow moment...

Went to my dh's office party over the holidays. Most had not seen me since before surgery. One guy was actually asking around the office who "that woman" was with Scott, and where was his wife! LMAO I thought it was pretty cool! HUGS Kimberly

Kimberly! Isn't it just SUCH an ego boost???????? I can say I've been there, done that. When we lived in Pascagoula, we had ran into a friend of ours we had met when we were stationed in San Diego, asking how hard it is these days with custody and all.. I was like "HUH?" and he said to hubby , it must be tough to see her only on the weekends.. He thought I was the "new woman" LOL When my daughter said " mommy what's he talking about? " he realized that it was me.... He apologized a hundred times , he had not seen me since we were in California and this was a year after I had surgery, that was me minus 120 lbs LOL I know I look much different than I did back then, especially to someone who has NOT seen me at all the whole time. I don't look like my pictures then any more. I don't even resemble my drivers' licence HAHA ~Andie~

Hey girl - been missing ya. I see lots of people who talk about how different I look - and I do, right in the face especially. I can tell from your pics too, face change - I have a few times ran into people that I have not seen since before surgery - I usually have to tell them who I am.

Oh girl, what I would give to have that moment! I will Not go with my hubby to his office parties because of the way I look now. I hope to be in your shoes one day. In the meantime I am living for all of you who's dreams are coming true. Way to go Terry
