pittman and assoc.
I don't know anything about your insurance company, but here's some stuff I found about it from some of the OH profiles (Both these folks used Dr. King in Oxford):
Insurer Info:
Pittman and Associates
I found that when I got the name and extension number of the person that had my file things went much more smoothly. I could ask for the individual who had all my paper work and then discuss any pre-cert issues specific to me. I could then fax or direct any needed information to that same individual. Also I was able to call occasionally to see how the process was going (don't think I was a pest, but it's the sqeaky wheel that gets the oil) Persistence and follow through by the patient is definetly a key. Besides the medical necessity, Pittman requires that there is documented evidence

These used Dr. Woodman in Memphis:
Pittman & Associates, PPO
Pittman & Associates was great to deal with. I called every few days and spoke to Andrea or Eula. They approved my surgery in 1 week after receiving everything from Dr Woodman's office. There is a long list of things you will need to complete though, in order to get it approved. Once you have those, it's no problem at all.

I had my surgery one year ago today and Pittman and Assoc. paid for my surgery. It was quite a long process but well worth it. My phone number is in the phone book in Starkville and I would be glad to tell you all about it. We also have a support group that meets the second Tuesday of each month at Willowbrook - Baptist Mem. Hospital, Columbus @ 6:30 PM on the third floor. We have another person in support group seeking ins. approval with the same company. We would love for you to come to the meetings. Best Wishes.
