Getting to know you

Everybody is out for the holidays but here goes for Mon-Tues-Wed. Tommy is home and doing well. Oh I saw Denise in Walmart a while ago. She looked good and I love her hair style. What was your best Christmas gift ever this year? Another words what made you smile? My new wedding set and the canvas of my children I wasn't expecting. What hit the spot with food the last few days? Fresh collards -- any kind of cheese roll or dip. I am into cheese these days. Did you get or give a pair of slippers this year? no

Glad Tommy is out of the hospital & doing better !!! Best gift this year---- Havin another Christmas w/my Daddy (81yrs old) & the rest of my family. Kitchen-Aid Ultra Stand Mixer & Kitten & .......... Best Food Last Few Days---- My Mamaw's Sweet Potatoe Pie made with Splenda Momma's Chicken-N-Dumplins & Dressing *Even tho I only had a taste of each, I'll be fine till Easter when they make some more !!! Slippers---- No. Thank Heavens !!!

Jane For those who don't know I had my RNY last week My best present was from my grandbaby, she came to me and said: " Nana does your bo-bo hurt?" to which I said "A little bit sometimes" her answer was "Nana you want me to kiss it and make it all better?" I didn't know weither to cry from the sincere joy or laugh. Oh the faith of a child! What hit the spot? 4oz of chicken broth Slippers this year. No I just bought some for the hospital. Well, actually, it was the card attached to some scrapbooking things that my 11 year old wrote: It said: "Mom, thanks for everything that you do for us. You are the best Mom in the world!" **tear** I enjoyed seeing the sheer delight on the kids faces, especially the baby, (first Christmas she kinda understood) when they came in and saw all the stuff! As far as food ... Don't laugh - Splenda cheesecake. YUM YUM The recipe came from this board, but can't remember who. Forgive me? I've eaten quite a bit of it! I've also enjoyed the Durkey green bean casserole! No slippers! HUGS! Kimberly

My best christmas gift was my new rings and puppy , but i got both before christmas. I also like the earrings my sweet sister got me , but i requested them!LOL moms peanut butter balls and ice box fruit cake made me dump, is that the spot you were talking about?lol i got new slippers from my mommy, i always take hers when i go to her house , shes got cold hard wood floors, so she got me ones just like hers!

My Favoritest Christmas gift was the hand knit scarf that Em made for me....I wanted a scarf she made me so bad...I knew she was making Jim one and she didn't have time to make me one...Boy, was I surprised!!!! But don't tell Jim and Jon!!! I LOVED my Pete & Pete and EVERYTHING Jim got me..... What hit the spot with food the last few days? On the way home Em & I stopped in Forest at Vowell's Supermarket because they had Bryan Wieners on sale for 86 cents a pack and Sissie keeps the great-nephews sometimes and they LOVE hotdogs. I have not eaten wieners since ages - even before surgery they made me queasy....But I ate one and it was wonderful!!!! It hit the spot....And so did the Munn's tomatoes!!!! Did you get or give a pair of slippers this year? Santa gave Em a pair of Bunny slippers that look just like REAL rabbits!!!!
