DH in the hosp

Tommy and our oldest daughter had that awful virus Tammy mentioned. On Monday night and Tuesday. Well he felt better Tuesday night and Wed but starting feeling bad through the evening Wed and the night. He could not pass anything from down under and his stomach was huge and tight as a drum. It was so hard. Anyway we tried numerous rememdies on Thurs and couldn't get his stomach to do anything. At 5 pm I took him to Forrest General and he was admitted. His gut was dead. They put a tube down and that helped relieve him after several hours and some good drugs. Thank God he was passing gas this am and feeling much better so they didn't have to take him in surgery. We are so thankful for that. He will be there until Sat night or Sun. This is hard with Chrsitmas and all. Just remember us. I had Christmas with the kids and son in law tonight as planned. He is so missed. I am glad he is comfortable at least. He has lost 7 pds this week and was so dehydrated. Oh well thanks for listening. Just pray he will come home on Sat night and be with us at least on Sun. Thanks in advance for caring. Love and Merry Christmas. It is something how we can take things for granted. We had so many plans and then they screeched to a halt. God is good though!!!!!! I got a new wedding set for Christmas. I went to a jewelry show and that enabled me to get something bigger and better. Kind of an antique looking ring. I am soooooo proud of it. I would have never thought I would have had a nice ring like this. Thank you Tommy! Later Jane

Hey Jane, You & your family are in my prayers. I do hope that Tommy & your daughter gets well ASAP & Tommy gets home soon. I know it's hard on you for them to be that sick, this time of year even more so. We missed my Mom & Dad's Christmas Party for the extended family due to that illness. It was awful !!! Broke my heart & theirs. My SIL was out sick also. All I can say is Thank God we will all be together Christmas Day !!! It'll only be the immediate family & that will be even better. I am sorry to hear this Jane. How is he doing today? I bet he is miserable and bummed about missing Christmas with yall. Tell him I am thinking of him and yall of course. Please keep us updated.
