Usually I don't reply to these cuz I'm pre-op and all but if you are seriously swallowing gum ... then I'm a good bit worried. When I went in for my 1st appt with Dr. Whitehead, his nurse Janet went on and on about how dangerous swallowing gum is to post-ops. She said it can get stuck to the point of them having to do surgery to get it out. Not trying to freak you out here, but I wanted you to know what I've been told. I hope this is nothing and I'm just being a worry wort. Keep us updated! Keli
