I'm Scheduled!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GirlFriend.... You know your in my prayers !!!
I loves ya & don't want anything bad to happen to you.
Just for God's sake (mainly yours) DRINK !!! Kidney stones are nasty !!!
I don't care what yahoo says.... you can get them after having WLS & it is because of the surgery. Any way you look at.. this surgery limits your liquid intake which can & does sometimes cause dehydration which can & has caused KIDNEY STONES in some people !!!
Trust me... I know first hand.
Oh & tell anyone & everyone that wants to get around you that.....
if they are sick - To Get The Hell-o Away From You !!!
I just worry about people having a ruff time with EVERYTHING about WLS. Lord knows if there was something that I could catch or have happen to me... it seems like it was going to happen.
If you have any questions or concerns... email me. I will tell you everything that I can & know about. REMEMBER... Everything IS NOT written about in some book or even posted here on ObesityHelp !!! And a lot of people just refuse to talk about all of their problems because they are ashamed to admit them. In other words... No matter how much research you do... you still won't have every detail. And there are some who will try to make you sound like an idiot for "not researching weight loss surgery like you should have done to being with" EVEN THO... YOU DID research with the info that IS out there.
I still haven't figured out how your suppose to do that without all the info being published. But Oh Well...
Tammy
Tams,
I know about kidney stones, honey I've had plenty. Like you say I'gotta drink, drink, drink. Thanks for the reminder though.
I got some chlorophyll for the Phewy gas and stools.
I've loaded my to call list, in my cell phone.
I've packed very light
Made arrangements for the animals(Pooh and Tubby)
What else?????????????????
Have I missed something? Is someone having problems and not talking about them? I think I have been completely honest with every aspect of my surgery - including my binging afterwards. That is a hard enough step as it is. If it is something I have said I would like to know. I have beared my soul here before. Sometimes these references make me wonder if is something I have said or done.
I agree that no matter how much research you do - every surgery is different and could have complications. We all know it is a dangerous surgery and you must be very confident in your surgeon and hospital staff.
Christine,
It's nothing you said or did, you are a very open person and we love you for that. Even though your name and birth month are the same as my daughters!!!!!!!!! Hers is Oct 3rd.
I have every confidence in Dr. Hannon and as an OLD, experienced, battle scarred, hospital nurse I can pretty well judge 'em. My confidence is hard to win but he has it. So does Dr Agagan who will follow me in the hospital. Don't know if he is a Pulmonologist or a Hospitalist(specializes in in-patient care)but he's good and I trust him.
The hospital and staff has yet to be judged. I had a wonderful staff there when I had the cardiac cath and so far all the departments at Mobile Infirmary have been pleasant and helpful. If this floor is not, I'm taking a water pistol of stinkum and I have a pad of paper and pen to take names. Despite bilateral knee replacements I can still kick butt.
I don't think I'll have to, I talked to a lady who just had hers done there and she had nothing but good to say about them.
Love ya lots girl,
Tomanip
Sweetie as far as I know, you haven't missed a thing.
You have been very open with all your info as far as I know.
You have mail.
Some of the things I'm gonna say, shouldn't be posted here on the board.
And for some of the other readers.....
No nothing is wrong between me & Christine.
Just what I am gonna say is between me & her.
So... go read something else
