that one that is the hard - Here are little things that I do to try to keep from eating the house - try to drink more water, stretch and take nice little walks to relieve bloating, an extra mile or half mile on the treadmill, maybe take extra iron. Definately up the protein, or I WILL eat the house. (But I would rather just sit around and eat pringles)...sorry, not a lot of help here, anxious to see what others have to say on the subject. Any hints appreciated.....D.

Right before my period I really could eat the house down. We talked to Dr. Carsons who is our nutrionist and he said it was very normal for us to want to eat before our periods. He said taking B6 would help curb the desire but I havent tried it. I think Melissa tried it - maybe she will chime in.

Hey Sara, it is perfectly normal for us to want to eat when we are having that time of the month. Dr. Carsons explained it all, but I forget all of that. But I do know if you will start taking B6 7 days before you are supposed to start and continue taking it until the very last day, it will help some with the cravings. Also, stay busy and make sure to have plenty of healthy snacks on hand even if it is healthier junk. Give yourself a little wiggle room during this time and don't be so strict with yourself and just knowing you don't have to follow your normal plan to the letter but you can have a little treat sometimes helps you to not want them so badly. It is tough being a woman LOL.
