Life is tough and so are folks that do not understand what we are going through. I will agree that this surgery makes everyone a bit crazy in the head, mean as a wasp and on an emotional rollercoaster! I take a hormone supplement which helps me to cope, but just like you, I get really ticked off when people say tactless things to me. I havent gotten a lot of fall out yet, due to the fact that I live so far away, but I emailed some photos and at first there was no response, but now slowly I am hearing from some of them. All are startled and a bit shocked I guess, hard to say if they are happy for me, you know that the stigma of being fat is hard to shake and for them to give up the feeling that they are no longer smaller than you! LOL. I guess that it is just pure human emotion and jealosy! I just bought all new clothes cause I cannot wear even one thing that I had before, but clothes are very cheap here and no one says much...... But they still offer me cakes and candy, I cannot even lick my fingers as the tinyest amount of sugar gives me a stomachache which is so bad that I do not want to go through it.....They looked offended when I explain that now sugar makes me ill, they just cannot comprehend...... Don't worry, just like everything, this will pass too and they will be off and running on someone else.....That is life!!!!! Meanwhile, whip up a batch of sugar free cookies and have a great Christmas and wear that sexy new dress you bought!!!!!!! Love, Cheryl

Well I honestly don't know what to say about your certain problems. Only because I haven't had those type problems yets. But I can tell you one thing.... If one more person comes up to me in church & they ask me if "Have you had any kidney stones this week?", I just may smack them !!! I'm starting to think they are taking bets behind my back. I am gonna hit every grocery store in the quad-state area (MS, LA, TN & AL) and I am gonna buy up EVERY lemon I can find....I need some extra freezer space too.....Man I like the idea of throwing the frozen lemons!!!! Unfortunately, NOBODY has made any of those comments to me yet, BUT there's nothing like getting an early start on folks BEFORE I hear the comments!!!! About the only comment I get is "WOW, you've lost more than ME!!!" And my comment back is usually, "Yep, and I intend to lose you AGAIN!!!" Here are the Queen's appropriate responses to the questions you are getting. Please make these responses with a LARGE smile on your face and if you can giggle while answering, all the better!!!! 1. You better eat you are gonna get sick. Here let me have that piece of pie and I'll show you what sick really is.... on their shoes.... Are you eating anything? Yep Are you suposed to eat that?? Yep Aren't you spending a lot of money on clothes, you wear something new everyday? Yep. Aunt Mables hairdressers neighbor had that surgery and she went crazy. Yep, me too. You got you a man/woman yet with that new body?
