1. Do you play a musical instrument?? yes I do. I play the piano and organ. By ear and note. By ear mostly. 2. What kind of music do you listen to and what is your favorite artist(s)? I listen to Southern Gospel and AFR stations and loved the McKameys. I listen to country and like Reba and the old country singers like George Jones and Dolly. 3. What is a dish you will prepare and take to a function this holiday? fruit salad also fruit ball served with graham crackers

1. Do you play a musical instrument?? used to play clarinet but haven't in so long I am sure that I can't anymore. Would love to learn to play piano. 2. I will help my parents prepare everything but will be travelling a long ways so will not take anything from here, other than shrimp and crab legs for our Christmas eve feast. We always do seafood Christmas Eve and a traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. Rhonda

Jane, 1. Yep! Trumpet, Tuba (E flat Upright, all state first chair Texas) and Piano. 2. I listen from everything from Patsy Cline to Green Day. Some of my favorites (of this week) David Grey, J. Moss , Nickel Creek, "The Used", Chris Brown, Martina McBride, Indigo Girls, Casting Crowns, Nine Inch Nails, and many more... Can we say Eclectic? 3. Even though I can't eat it anymore- My 8 Layer Caramel Dark and White Chocolate Cake My Neighbors Count on it! Fun Post! Best Wishes- Dx

1. Do you play a musical instrument??Nope, but my hubby and kids play lots of stuff....Jim plays anything he picks up....Jon plays flute, guitar, piano and prolly many more before it's over....Em plays piano and is (SHH!!!!) fixing to pick up the guitar....So can I get some credit cause they have lots of talent? I would love to play the piano or anything, but being tone deaf is a LARGE problem....Heck, I can't even carry a tune in a bucket with the lid nailed on....doesn't stop me from singing tho..... 2. Mostly country....I love Big & Rich, Toby Keith, Gretchen Wilson, Sugarland, Montgomery Gentry...I love the oldies - what Em refers to as Hippie Music! And I like Green Day, Hootie, and alot of the music Em & Jon listen to, but I can't remember any of the singers.......it's that senior moment stuff.... 3. What is a dish you will prepare and take to a function this holiday? I will take a selection of breads, cheeses and meats from the deli.....We are having Christmas at Sissie's. Years and years ago, Jim decided that Thanksgiving was for eating and Christmas for playing and there would be no cooking done on Christmas! It was a Kingly decision and I go along with it....so for Christmas, we have sandwiches.....But Jon fussed cause the only desserts we had at Thanksgiving were banana pudding and sweet potato pie....So I may make an Apple Pie (his favorite) and a pecan pie (Em's favorite) Both will be sugar free but I aint' telling!!!! I listen to a bit of everything from classical to yee haw but my ALL TIME FAV band is Queen and my right now fav is Coldplay. 3. What is a dish you will prepare and take to a function this holiday? My family has their celebration on Christmas Eve and it's a finger food type thing which means it's usually desserts desserts and more desserts. Only this year for some reason my mom has decided we can't bring any cakes or pies. I think she's flipped so I will be bringing various cakes and pies! Keli
