How my appt went

Well, my appointment went really well. No modesty left now for sure. Standing there in the buff getting pulled on and measured takes away any dignity or modesty you may have had left after having two children LOL. I picked out my implants as I will need a lift as well as implants; we discussed the procedure for my tummy tuck. She won't know whi*****ision she will use until she gets in there and sees how my skin does. She is going with the bikini incision, but if she can't get the upper stomach smooth enough she will convert to the anchor or T incision. I told her it did not make one difference to me as long as my belly is flat with no excess skin. I don't care about the scar. I don't have the surgery day yet. She is making me go for bloodwork tomorrow to make sure all of my numbers are good being that I am a WLS patient. She wants to make sure I am not malnourished or anything. Once she gets the results of the bloodwork she will call me and tell me my date which will be somewhere around the 13th or so of January. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am ready for this though. No more saggy boobies or tummy after January. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers as my nerves will be shot waiting a month for this to happen. Melissa 277/134

Thanks, I am nervous because I have undergone two surgeries in the last two years, my RNY and my gallbladder removal. So the memories are still fresh. But I want this done so I am going ahead while I have the desire and the nerve. I do appreciate the prayers. I get scared about being put to sleep. Melissa

I am glad things went so well at the Docs. I know you are nervous, but since you have gone thru 2 surgeries, I know you will be okay. I am excited for you! I can't imagine a FLAT tummy. Ask Glenda! I rubbed hers and just looked and looked at it!!! It was amazing!! WOOHOO for flat bellybuckles!!!! Smoochies Arlies

That is great news, hopefully she will be able to do everything with the bikini cut. I will be thinking of you. I will tell them hello. Congrats to you on continuing to shrink. You are almost at your goal of 125. I am happy for you. I have seen pictures of tummy tucks with the bikini cut, and the people's before pictures were worse than mine. So, maybe I will be lucky and have the one cut across the bottom. But if not, I will be proud of my scar and what it signifies. Hope things settle down for you soon. Melissa 277/134
