Fighting Denial
Hi everyone,
I know you guys don't know me yet, but I really need your support and prayers.
I am fighting my insurance denial.
At first I was angry, then very sad and now I am determined to get tihis right!
I want to be able to answer the fun posts about weight loss as well as giving support and prayers. I love getting up every morning and reading everything ya'll have to say to each other. As a matter of fact I read many times a day, excited about new post and learning things about WLS and ecouragment ya'll give to each other.
This Board is a special place. Please don't take it for granted and remember there may be someone new like me waiting to become a part of this family.
Thanks for posting and listening.

Hey Cindi,
Great looking cat. We love cats and dogs.
Welcome to the boards. We have not yet filed for insurance. We are still in the pre-filing stage. I am braced for denial mostly because nothing ever goes smooth for us!!!! Just wanted you to know we wish you luck and will keep you in our prayers. There are so many people that have been through this. If you have been reading profiles, there are some that it took 3-4 years to have the surgery. They all say it was worth it. Hang in there and keep fighting. We are all behind you!!
glenda and walter
Thanks ya'll.
That is a good looking cat!! His name is Pepper. He is a Maine Coon and we adopted him from the Humane Society 2 years ago! I have another cat, TeeJay, he is a Tabby. My boys gave hime to me after our beloved Toot died from feline luekemia. His picture is on my profile. They are my babies since my kids are grown and on thier own.
Good luck to both of you. I think it's great you are doing this together. Ya'll are in my prayers too!

Hey Cindi! Good luck with your appeals! I am just starting out in the process of trying to get this surgery as well so I know what you mean about this board being great!! I am always so excited to read everything too! You keep coming here and keep fighting that insurance company! I look forward to getting to know you better!
Hugs,
Danielle
And that's what SUPPORT is all about, it is certainly not just for us postops, although it is important for us to stay in touch. It is for anyone looking into making the journey, even if they decide it is not for them, it is for you guys climbing the ropes and jumping through hoops. It is the only way to find out some things sometimes.....okay, anyway, welcome to the board and ask any questions you have, especially for support and prayer and what to do when______!!! DeAnna.
