I had to drop mobic and any aspirin containing meds prior to surgery, but I have a friend in Meridian who was allowed to continue on her mobic after surgery....Guess it depends, tho on what I dunno....I can and do take arthritis strength tynelol (Walmart brand), but can only take 1/2 the dosage the bottle says....I take one in the am and one in the pm and it's the first thing that has helped my knees in AGES!!!! (My Doc told me not to exceed 650 mgs on tynelol per dosage due to the possiblity of liver damages...) The reason for no aspirin containing meds (Aleve) per my Doc is that it increases the risk of ulcers.
