I couldn't find the recipe I used last year but I found these 2. I have not tried either one so I'm no help on if they are good. But to me they both sounded good. I was only 10 days out of surgery last year at Thanksgiving so this year I have went recipe crazy... Recipe #1 3 tbsp margarine 12 packets equal (1/2 cup) 3 eggs slightly beaten 1 cup Cary's brand sugar free syrup ( i'm sure you could use any brand) pinch salt 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans plus extra for decoration if you desire 1 9" pie shell Heat oven to 350 degrees In mixing bowl, cream margarine and equal. Add eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla, and pecans, mix well pour into pie shell. Top with whole pecans for decoration(if desired) Bake 50-60 minutes Recipe#2 1 cup sugar free honey 1 cup splenda 1 tsp vanilla 3 eggs 2 tbsp butter 1 1/4 cup pecans 1 9" deep dish pie shell preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine honey, eggs, splenda, butter and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans and pour into deep dish pie shell. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until knife come out clean. I might try one in the next day or so to see how it turns out. If I do I'll let ya'll know. Becky

Yummy Becky!! Pecan Pie is my favorite, and my weakness. I was horrible today. We went to J's Thanksgiving dinner at work and I ate a half of a piece of real pecan pie, and boy was it sweet. I paid the price, I got light headed, broke out in a sweat, all the usual dumping stuff when I eat sugar. But I have to say I think it was worth it... Anyway, I am going to try this recipe. Thanks for sharing it with us! Rhonda

Don't ever try it Becky.. But I was thinking... when you have to drink that orange stuff for the baby - you might dump really bad with it... Its almost like pure sugar. Do you know what I am talking about? I had to do it when I was pregnant with Emily. Christine

Yep, I remember it! Tastes like really, really sweet orange soda. I thought it was wonderful when I drank it - it was ice cold, but when it hit my tummy, I was sick, sick, sick!!!! I drank it with Em. Smoochies Arlies
