Country Bumkin, you mean to tell me you are from the country and can not remember to have some sort of Greens. Let's see, you have a choice of Turnips, Musturds, Cabbage, or Spinach Yakssss (Nasty). Then let's not forget the Mac and Cheese and everything else looks very good. It is always fun when you do it the first time by yourself (I do mean cooking). You can die laughing later from the mistakes you make; like having to throw the dressing out because it looks and taste like corn bread. Guess who, yes me Bamberg Germany 1985. But I've grown up now and I can hold up with the best now. One trick I do for my dressing is put a can of cream of mushroom soup in the bottom of the pan before pouring the dressing in and the soup cooks into it and keeps it moist. Take Care Ladies!!!!

Hey e-body. We have to see everybody in a short time, so, Wednesday night we will go to Jim's (husband's) parents outside of Batesville, stay for lunch, and then go to my uncle and aunt's in Duckhill. They have a horse ranch and do a big T-giving for all of my maternal family side (there are many), and the children ride horses all afternoon. But, because we did lunch with them last year, this year we do lunch with his mom, but go for the horseriding and fellowship....Then, my sisters and their various and sundry offspring and husbands (4) go to my mom's and aunt's houses around Goodman, MS, (we live close and just go home and drive back and forth to visit with them) One of my aunts has a big ole brunch on Friday for everybody that is around. Then, my other aunt will do a Mexican meal on Friday night for anybody who is around.....IT IS ALL ABOUT FAMILY, and it is GREAT....(i promise it is not all about the food LOL LOL LOL). And, Denise, we have to fit hunting in between all of this also!

To all of my WLS siblings be careful while ya'll are out there traveling over the Thanksgiving holidays. I have decided I am pathetic, and unless my attitude changes between now and Thanksgiving I refuse to cook what I may not be able to eat lol ,I told my Mom I thought we could all go out somewhere and eat ,she said "Oh we are?" ,she is aggravated with me, I have cooked the Thanksgiving dinner for my entire family for the last 5 years and I think I want to take a break lol that is not setting to well wif my Mom cause she wants me to cook lol....I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.....Huggs and 's....Sherry....

Sandra, I think I have gone nuts. I agreed to meet my daughter, Stacie, in the Dallas Airport the day before Thanksgiving. My husband and I are going to get our youngest granddaughter for the week while Stacie and her husband take the other three granddaughters to Disney World. We will be traveling with our seven year old son, four year old daughter, and our 6 month old granddaughter . I am sure the trip will be very eventful. Sonya Sumrall
