Home and doing good
Hi guys,
Thank you all for the prayers that were sent my way. As you all know I had the exsess skin removed from my stomach on 10/31. Well what was suppose to be an overnight stay turned out to be a week long stay. My surgery went very well, I did good from my heart standpoint which the doctor was concerned about. On Tues tho the , the day after surgery my creatine level decided to take a turn for the worst. I was bleeding out. My nurses at MS Surgical Clinic was so great. They immeditaly got me help. To make a long story short I was transferred to Baptist Medical Center and there I had a total of 8 units of blood and 3 units of plasma, and on Thurs my bleeding had not slowed and my creatine was still low and Dr Thompsom knew he had to reopen me to get the bleeding under control so off for a second surgery I went. That surgery went well also. I did well from that surgery. Dr. Thompson says I am a real trooper. I just wanna tell every one the nurses at BMC was the best. When I called they were there. If my nurse was busy her co-worker came to attend to my needs. They showed the meaning of team work. Dr. Thompson of the Jackson Plastic Surgery Clinic is the best. He is such a caring Dr. He took off 11 pounds of tissue from my stomach. And those of you that have to have plastic surgery all I can say is start saving. I am not back up to par yet but I getting there. Continue to keep me in your prayers.
So glad to hear from you. Are you pleased with the results? I just don't know if I am brave enough for skin removal. It really sikes me out when I think about it. My arms and legs are much worse than my stomach. I have always had large legs though. The skin kind of sags around my knees some already and I still hope to lose 30 or 40 more pounds. 200 was my goal but I may surpass that. I am not sure right now. I have 24 more pds to go then 200 it will be. I am now a size 16-18 and happy. I do want to lose 25 more for sure. Guess I will stop my ramblin on.
