Sleep study

Yea; this is the last step before i get a pre op appointment. I went to the pulmonoligst?(sp) and he said I needed a sleep study and the appointment was for Dec 21,2005. I was very dishearted about it. I want the surgery so bad before the end of the year. It now looks more promising. Thanks for everyones prayers. They really have worked. Steph

They called me last night and I went and had it done. I forgot to put that in the message I was too excited. YUK, how can they expect anyone to sleep with all that stuff hooked up to them. I have an appointment on the 17th for the results. So it is really looking promising. Thanks for your support. Steph

Steph, I got real lucky. They had a cancellation the day the pulminologist said I needed one done, and then another cancellation for the study with the cpap machine a few weeks later - but same day I found out I needed it. (did you follow any of that? LOL) Anyway, point is - I used St. Dominics Hospital for the study. Wonder if they couldn't get you in sooner? If that's not who you are using already. Definately tell them to put you on the cancellation list. HUGS Kimberly - who's fingers are crossed for you to be on the losing side REAL soon!

Becky; I am hoping that I can have the surgery before Jan, due to meeting my deductible this year and they will pay 100% for the surgery. I had the sleep study last night and go to the doc for the results on the 17th so I can put that final step behind me and wait for a preop appointment. thanks for all your support. Steph
