Bash

Everyone looked WONDERFUL! We stayed Friday night and Saturday night and really really enjoyed the park. The rooms were huge and had really nice back patios and a wonderful view of the lake with ducks and geese who were eating out of our hands. It was great. We had a great time cutting up and visiting and playing cards. The playground was nice and we acted like a bunch of children out there. I had a wonderful time. Sandra, I apologize for those boys harrassing your kids Saturday night. They did get in trouble. I didnt realize they had taken it to that extreme. Everyone at the bash looked wonderful and nobody even resembles their photos anymore. The fashion show with the dresses were beautiful. Cinderellas Closet (provided most of the dresses) were gorgeous... Esp the red one I wore... haha... I love that dress. It was really nice of Crystal to bring them and to even give one away in a drawing. My wonderful bestest friend, Melissa, knew i fell in love with the red one and when her name was drawn for the dress giveaway - she picked me the red dress. I was floored and exstatic since I had never been to prom or worn a dress like that (always too fat)... Everyone looked gorgeous all dressed up but our Queen Diva who won the 1st prize, Melissa, looked wonderful in both outfits she wore - but her smile was worth a thousand words. She lit up the room and deserved every bit of that 1st prize award. Bingo was fun, even though I had bingo 3 times without really having bingo.. haha... The shirt painting was fun. Arlies daughter, Em, did a fabulous job with mine. I am not creative at all and she wrote my name on my shirt and I think its adorable. It was so fun at the park that we are going to go back in the summer for some rest and relaxation. Arlies, Sandra, and Crystal you did a wonderful job organizing everything. It was sooo much fun! Thanks for the wonderful post. I am SOO glad you got to keep that red dress. It was absolutely beautiful on you. I enjoyed meeting you and e-body else there. I needed that so much, just the contact with other people making the same journey and at different stages. Well be sure and let us know if you go back there in the summer, I'm not very far from there and would love to come up for an afternoon with the kids and see ya.

We are definitely going back this summer. And we are going to swim, slide, fish, hike, you name it. We have the endurance to do all of that now that we have shed the pounds. Hey, and next time we go we will know exactly what to take with us LOL and be more prepared. Everyone did look great. I am so proud of everyone. It was amazing to see the differences in everyone since we got together in June. You are very welcome for the dress. You looked beautiful in it and deserved it and needed it. Everyone should have an evening gown. And girl you know I have an attic full from the good old days of pageant hopping LOL. So it was your turn to shine and get pampered. You are a beautiful woman, and one day you will look in the mirror and see what I and everyone else sees. I loves you to the moon and back. Melissa P.S. Christine, We all had a great time at the bash too and wished we could have stayed at the lodge ourselves, we just thought about it all too late. Sara and I loved hanging out with you guys and in the evening too, just sitting around the lake, it was so pretty. I told my hubby about it and told him I was so wishing we were going to stay here in MS, we could go up there and get a week of rest and relaxation, something we both need desperately. The lake with the boat and all was what did it. It was serene and quiet. Yeah and the dress u got... girl you look FABULOUS in it !! I doubt I'll ever get as far down in weight as you ladies, but I looked at you all and said to myself, it's POSSIBLE !! And I'm gonna start working like hell to get them last pounds off. My doc wants me to get to 173.That's "just" another 25 lb, I personally wanted to get to around 160, that's probably pushing it but I would love to be down to that again like I was when I was in 9th grade lol Enjoy that dress and make sure you wear it a lot, it looks great on ya, girl! Hi everyone for some reason my posts are not showing up on my computer or no none elses. I think my computer is acting up. My computerr is saying there is no post on this site but I went to old post and saw that everyone has been posting. So I know it's my computer. I did have a good time this week-end and my kids but I can't say the same for my husband. He just had two teeth pulled on opposite sides of his mouth and was on drugs. So in a way he was feeling very good. Glad everyone enjoyed themselves. Take Care!!!1

Sandra, it's not your computer, I promise you. Try this " Ctrl + F5", if that doesnt' refresh so you can see the posts, do it again. It works, just keep trying. It's the website or the internet, not sure if there's some kinda virus involved, but the Ctrl F5 works for me when it doesn't load properly, usually by the second try it's fine. Take care and tell hubby I know exactly what he's going thru, I was quite subdued with my recent dental work and it was a bit distracting to me, but I still had a blast ~Andie~

Christine I too had a wonderful time. I loved the rooms and thanks so much for letting us stay with you. Wayne had a great time too. He has been looking for someone to play poker with. I am ready to go back now. But this summer will be so much for cause we can swim and slide. You and Missy have a little more energy than I do but I can just stop when I get tired. I can't wait till you get to wear that dress. You will stun the whole room when you enter. "The Lady in Red" thats you and you deserve it. It was a great time!!!! I loved the pageant. In fact, I voted for everybody!!!! That's not cheating like some hubbies and kiddies that voted twice for the same person. I spread mine around!!!! It was fantastic!!!! Smoochies Arlies
