Hi , i just want to tell ...
Michelle,
Hang in there and don't give up. It seems like a loooooooooong drawn out process.. It seemed like forever & aday to me when I was waiting, but when I got to the other side.. I figured it up and it was only 6 months and that's not near as long as some have waited.
Hope that everything goes smooth and the ball keeps rolling in your favor.
Take Care,
Jo
Hi Michelle !
Good luck on the psych test next week, it's half as bad as they make it out to be, you'll do just fine - even I passed it and according to my hubby I'm completely insane .
I'm happy that your ball is rolling and we're all here to support you when you need us. Make sure to keep us up to date on how you're progressing. Now take it one day and one test at a time and if you have any questions, feel free to post it here and we'll help in any way we can.

Don't worry about the psycho test....just don't tell them about the voices....or at least tell them that you don't do what the voices say!!!!!
As the great Psycho Doc once told me, "It doesn't matter that you are crazy, it only matters if your craziness makes you not understand the surgery."
So if I passed, you will too!

Hi Michelle patience, patience, and more patience. I waited almost 3 years with Drs. dropping out of sight, psy appt., two nutritional appt, EKGs, referrals etc.........
Believe me it is worth it's wait in GOLD!!!!! Look who's smiling now it's me, it's me!!!! And I smile everytime someone says you look soo different, you look soo good, or girl what have you been doing. Sure I can get mad at the ones who say you look soo good now as if I was tore up before, sure I could lie and say I have been exercising and dieting like crazy to lose all this weight. But I look them in the face and tell them the truth because I know it's a struggle to be the size we are or were and not be able to get help with it. Believe me when I say I have had WLS soo many people start asking questions and want to know how can they get it also. Some people are ashame and don't want people to know they have had WLS, but not me. I tell any and everyone who ask me. Understand that everyone is not at my comfort level or as open as others.
The only moral I have to this story is "help someone if you can help them". Even if you have to slip them a note with phone numbers on it of Drs., Voc Rehab., or your number so that they may call you in private. Honey will someone please tell me how did I get off on this subject. I guess I am just at the way things are when they don't have be. Anyway "patience is a virtue" and don't give up because as you can see it is worth it. Nothing but for you!!!!
Take Care!!!!
