Good report
I guess what I am trying to say is I have only 2 ulcers. No surprises. I get nervous anytime tests are done because I know sometimes the report is not good. Anyway I do have an ulcer in the pouch and one also on the way out of the pouch. I did not know a thing and was out for the test. God is good. My heart rate was 50 and that concerned them some so I will take it tomorrow after this sedation wears off and see if it goes up. I took 2 tylenol pms last night and that may have done it. I was relaxed that is for sure.
Well just wanted to share. I am now on Aciphex once daily in the am 30 minutes before breakfast. Pray that will heal them. I go back on Dec 7th.
Dr Owens in Hattiesburg is the guy that knows all about my surgery. He has a lot of experience with this type surgery from practicing at San Antonio TX. How do you spell that?! ha He is nice and very sweet.
Talk more later to you guys. Be sweet and don't let the REAL you come out this Halloween!!!Yes I am talking about you!
Jane
Dear Jane,
I'm glad you have been diagnosed and you're being treated for these ulcers. I've been lucky and haven't had to deal with them (whew) but I am praying that your medicine will make you feel better very soon.
I know what u mean about the heartrate, mine dropped below 50 several times post-op last week and I just dozed off, the nurse kept waking me up telling me to "take deep breaths" every time that evil machine went off when it dropped below 50
The real ME is out every day. Halloween just makes it more fun to freak the neighbors out with being normal hehe

I am so glad that you have finlly got the answers to all of your problems. I have thought about you a lot since I seen you back in August. I hope that this will get you on the right track. If there is anything we can do for you, please do not hesitate to ask. We all love you and are here for you all the way!

Ulcers seem to be one of the main attractions of this surgery, don't they? I am so sorry that they came to visit you, but am very glad it isn't something much, much worse. I was told to NEVER, EVER take any meds with aspirin in them because it encourages the ulcers to come visit with you. I even had to give up my mobic (arthritis med for my knees) and to never, ever take more than 500 milligrams of tylenol per day but I don't think the tylenol was to prevent ulcers...Liver damage, I think....(anybody else notice the Queen's mind seems to be getting more and more forgetful?)
