OT ~ Bull Fight!!

Hi Mississippi Board! I have snuck over from the Alabama Board to see if ya'll could answer a question for me. I read in The Tuscaloosa News on Sunday about a gent in Newton, MS staging a real live (bloodless...they aren't really gonna cut 'em) bullfight. He owns a restaurant in Newton called Mexico Lindo. Does anyone know anything about this? The paper said there were going to be 2 different events scheduled...October 29th and November 12th. I think we would like to drive over and check this out. Hi Amy, I am from Newton County and yes it true. But the event that was to be held this weekend (Oct 29) has been cancelled due to some problems that they encountered at the border with Customs. (Something to do with inspections of the bull pen and also the bulls that they would be importing.) The weekly paper today does state that they are trying very hard to make it happen November 12th. I was very disapointed because my family had planned to attend. Check back with me the week of the 12th and I will pass along any information that I will have then. Melinda
