Need a prayer or two
I will be one year out in Dec and I still have those days. Some days I do not even get in any liquids, then some days I get in everything I need to. The days I get in anything I need to are very very rare. The only problem it is causing is my potassium is too low. That makes my arms and legs hurt and can cause a heart attack, soooo I try to eat more foods that have potassium in them and drink the NASTY liquid pot.
TO EVERYONE
WE CAN NOT AND I REPEAT CAN NOT have potassium pills. I took some and they blocked my opening leaving the pouch. Had to have it removed. The liquid tastes like caster oil. I have never had caster oil, but it sure is BAD.
God bless
Hey Donna... I got your note in the mail. It was wonderful to hear from you and even though its been a tough road for you it sounds like you are getting so much better with every passing day.
We have missed you around here and do hope you stay and play with us. You a trooper and were there from the beginning for me during my whole ordeal.
Stick around, okay?
Christine
Hi Donna,
I bought some potassiium pills, but haven't taken any yet. Was going to crush them. My legs and hips have been hurting, mostly at night. The only whole pills I've taken are my synthroid (tiny) and Zoloft (cut in half). I'm supposed to be on all crushed pills, but I just couldn't do it anymore.
Do you think a crushed potassium pill would cause trouble? Guess this is a question for the doc, but thought I'd get your opinion. I go back to the doc next week and will be asking about it then.
Thanks for your response.
Deborah
