NEWS ON TAMMY!!!!!

I acutally talked to Tammy yesterday!!!! She sounds AWFUL!!!! Sounds like she has a rotten cold worse than anybody ever has - I guess that's the pneumonia. She had just gotten back from the ER and found out she now has KIDNEY STONES!!!!! The Doc at the ER told her they were a direct result of the surgery. I asked her if she was still mad at me and she said she was mad at the world. I was relieved to actually hear her voice. I, again, told her if we can get her past all this sickness, she will feel good again and be glad for the surgery. She still just can't see it. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Poor Tammy!...she has had it rough...none of us know when we have this surgery how we're gonna do afterwards...it's amazing how some do wonderful and breeze through it and some have so many problems....i am praying for her.....i don't understand how Kidney stones could be a direct result from this surgery...kind of worries me...i had a kidney stone last summer....PAINFUL.....BIG TIME.........might have to check with my doc about this....i know Tammy isn't really mad at you Arlies...she loves you!...like she said, she's mad at the world right now and i don't blame her.......she's been through it and back......we've just got to all keep praying that things will get better......Take care!!

Kidney Stones as a result of WLS? That's Crazy! If you talk to her Telling her to Go to a Different Doc or ER. She'd get better info than that If she went to a gas station. Kidney Stones are the result of mineral build up That takes much longer to Manifest than she has had since surgery. Perhaps, dehydrating from not Getting in her fluids has caused them To be a "noticeable" problem, But they were there Before WLS. I hope she's feeling better soon. I'm gonna miss all of Ya'll this weekend. I'm headed out to Boston on Wednesday. I'll keep the prayers coming from a distance! (From one "cheerleader" to another) Best Wishes- Dx

I didn't know she was having such a hard time. You know I've been on and off the past 6 weeks and really hadn't been able to keep up like should. I hate to hear she is having a tuff time. I will be sure to keep her in my prayers. Becky

I have been really thinking about tams alot lately. I truly truly hope she bounces back from this soon. I just know that once she is able to eat again she will feel so much better. and once she is over this sickness. She will one day see what a great decision she made. Let her know that we are all thinking of her! Denise
