Steph, Hang tight Dr C is a great dr and I promise you he will do his best and the hospital is alot better than UMC. I am byassed I know but I mean the man did save my life so I have to be byassed. And hate to tell ya you will have to do the preop stuff no matter where ya go it is required. I Know it is a pain but it is for your own well being that they do it. Barry

I do not know what insurance you have and I am not pushing my surgeon on anyone -- BUT... my surgeon is WONDERFUL! The require a psych exam and a nutritional evaluation. We are in Hattiesburg. He only does it open (prefers it this way).... He and his staff are great and I would recommend them to anyone. The hospital is Forrest General. They always use the same floor and the nurses are wonderful to us. I do not know of one person that Dr. Whitehead has done surgery on that is not pleased.

Hi Steph!>.good luck with your surgery!...i just got so tired of dealing with UMC...i never knew what was going on!....and when I'd call Sandra, i never felt like i got the answers i wanted....it was like she didn't know either....don't get me wrong; she's very nice.....but, after talking with Carla at Vicksburg and seeing how fast she got things rolling, i'm so much more satisfied.....and Dr. Suddereth is certified in this field and is a great doctor too.....i am just so ready to have this and start feeling better...i know you are too.....Best of luck!!
