That's IT! I've HAD IT!
Ok - somebody just slap me now. I know you guys have been telling me to get off the scale - but now I want to throw the D*** thing out the window! I woke up yesterday - back up to 180.5. Woke up this morning - back up to 181.5! WTH? NO NO NO! I REFUSE to accept this! I was at 177.5! That's what I weigh! Not the 180's again!
I'm making a pact with myself. I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY going to try to NOT weigh until Sunday mornings. This sucks!
Somebody pass me some cheese to go with my "whine"!

Step away from the scale take it gently in your right ( or left) hand and walk calmly to the front door. Open door and then throw that thing as far as you can and hope a car runs it over. I found it is much better if I only weigh in once a week. I go to a clinic to weigh in. It helps the nerves i know. I am so glad that I was as big as I was so that i coulddnt use a house hold scale. I would prolly be a basket caste by now if I had. But I know you still a bnig loser so keep it up. Just remember to lose the scales and it will all be ok.

Wiegh no more than once a month - not during Aunt Flo's visit either....more like right afterwards...Also weigh buck-nekkid, get a haircut the day before, cut all toenails and fingernails, take off all jewerly and right after you get up and have tickled good, but have not eaten anything!!!! I always say that is the only way to get your TRUE weight.....

I agree with Arlies, once a month - It will make you feel so good when you see a bigger weight loss, rather than playing with half a pound or two pounds up or down, cause a glass of water can make you go up a pound or two it seems like. Also, what food you have had, amount of sodium and such as, make those fluctuations of a pound or two sometimes also....Things you already know!!!! You know I love ya...D.

I cant fuss at you for being scale obsessed. I am too... I dont want to wait a month and get on it and see that it has gone up 3 or 4 pounds OR MORE! I weigh everyday. I know though that it will fluctuate daily depending on what I have eaten, drank, time of the month, etc... Girl dont sweat it. I always go back and forth between a few pounds. Your doing great.
I am scale obsessed too.. However, don't beat yourself up when the scale fluctuates. You have to weigh at the exact same time everyday in order for it to be accurate. The later in the day that you way, the more you will weigh due to holding water. Don't let a couple of pounds get you down and out. You will meet your goal in no time!! Just keep your chin up and don't let yourself get depressed over it. We all know what we like to do when we are depressed....eat.... junk.... LOL
