Hello! My name is Kameha, I am 24 and I am currently living in Meridian. I have to tell you guys that this is the best site! It has answered so many of my questions and I love reading your posts and comments. I have been considering wls for about two years now and am finally attending a seminar on the 17th. I am SOOO excited! The thing that scares me the most is my long term health. But I am hoping the seminar will be able to answer my remaining questions. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and tell everyone congrats on their weight loss! I am looking forward to giving and recieving some great support here! Take care and God bless!

Kameha, Welcome to the board! Meridian has a good support group I hear! Who are you going to get to do the surgery? Let us know if you need anything! We are having a get together in Morton on the 29th. I'm sure the queen can give you full details. We'd love for you to come. You'll probably be loaded with more questions after your seminar! Keep us posted! HUGS Kimberly

Hi! I would love to come. I just found out where Morton is and it is only about 50 miles away. Does anyone know how to get the park from the exit?? I may be bringing my 21 month old daughter so would love to pitch in on the candy thing and pot luck! Thanks for the info and the invite! Oh and I think the doctor I am looking at is Dr.Ferrugia...has he done anyone's surgery?? If so, what are your thoughts??

Hi Kameha... I am in Hattiesburg. I had my surgery 1 year and 1 week ago. Best thing that has ever happened to me. Good luck on your journey. Its hard emotionally and physically sometimes but worth it in my eyes. I am happier now than I have ever been.

Thank you everyone for the replies! Everyone seems to be really supportive of one another here and I think that is great! I have SOOO many mixed emotions about it even though I KNOW this is something I want and need to do. Still very excited about the seminar! My husband isn't very excited about this idea but he is also in perfect health and shape so he doesn't fully understand why I want to do this. I am not sure where Morton is but I will look it up. I just moved to MS about a year ago. My husband is in the military so we move every three years. Well enough for now. Hope to hear from you all soon!
