Thanks for all the support. I had to get the crying out of my system. Like my husband said, "I know you will enough to know this won't get you down long. You will find a way." CRAP! He's right. I was hoping to have a small breakdown. I could use a vacation from reality for awhile. Seriously, for about 24 hours I did nothing but cry and think all my hope of "smalldom" was over. I will be fat forever. Oh well. Now to live.... Here is a question or problem I need help with. Since I have dieted for 20 years now, you know the yo-yo effect, how do I get my body to respond to dieting? I am slowing expanding! Can you get back a regular metabolism? I have had every test done. My doctor has dx me with fibromyalgia and during that time everything was checked. I hope my question makes since. I decided... tomorrow I will start to yadda, yadda, yadda. But if your metabolism is out of whack - what do you do? Is there a test for metabolism? Gotta go. Me and my son are going walking to Grandma's house. 1 mile round trip. He will stay and I will return to work. When is there a meeting in NE MS. I think there is one tonight in Oxford, but my son's 5th birthday is today. His party with the "Old women" is tonight. That's what he calls the grandmas.

Glad to see that you have regrouped. One good way to jump start the metabolism, is to start exercising. At work I make it a point to walk down the hall whenever I need to...I know it is nothing like walking a mile, but I look at it this way...walking is walking. Norma

Exercise, absolutely, and up the protein, maybe 2-3 protein shakes a day if possible. I could always see a difference when I would up the protein drinks and have the 8-10 glasses of water a day. Good way to jump-start.

If possible walk early in the am and drink LOTS AND LOTS of water. Also make better choices - instead of that candy bar, have a banana, etc. Hang in there girlie! We will help you pull thru! Smoochies Arlies
