Girl Please, Johnny had to chase them down to get my RX. That hospital should be shut down & a lot of restructuring happen. Dr. Salameh was the best !!! There were a few of interns that were just as great, but majority of the hospital staff should be fired !!! Don't even get me started !!! Love ya, Tammy

hey tammy sorry to hear about ur mishaps. i didnt have to go to the er and i just didnt know if i was gonna make it thru another day i was MISERABLE!!! it will get better. its long and hard! WLS is NOT the easy way out like some poeple would like u to believe, but it IS worth it!hang in there girl!we are here for u. crystal 229/144/125

Once I address the emotional issues of like....... ***how can a hospital operate on someone, keep them in recovery, send them to their room & then after 45 minutes give them pain meds. And I remember asking for pain meds in the recovery. ***how can you be in the hospital for 2 days & never be given a bath. ***where was house keeping the whole time ? I never seen them. Oh they did change the sheets about an hour before I left the hospital. Guess they were getting the room ready for the next person. None of these things are jokes either. They actually happened !!! Oh well... I knew it wasn't going to be easy & I was ready for that fight. But what I didn't realize was the hard part I was gonna have to deal with was going to be because of the hospitals employees lack of carring & doing their jobs. Tammy

Poor Jan..... If she only knew what she was going to do to herself !!! Oh no she isn't gioing to regret anything. I hope & pray. I won't after a while. Say a year or two. Once my memory fades. I'm just not going to sugar coat what I'm going thru to anyone. Everyone should hear the truth, no matter what it is. If someone changes their mind about surgery after hearing my story, then God Bless Them & if they continue on & have it then God Bless Them. There should be a type of simulator of the pain & stress that we go thru with this surgery. Hmmm that may send lots & lots of people running for the hills tho. RUN FORREST RUN !!! Tammy

Hi Tammy, I'm new to posting, surgery 2 years ago. It does get better and you WILL feel great....BUT the first few days are *!.@!*#>>>>.., but then each day gets a little better, just rest and walk as much as possible, no matter how much it hurts, the walking (and breathing) will absolutely make you feel better, works out soreness. Anyway that is all the "professional (ha)" advice I have. They gave me a small, firm pillow to clutch to incision site, I remember pressing it against the sorest (is that a word?) place to get up and down and while walking and it helped. Hurt while I was walking but it does help the healing process.

Glad to see your back and are now a looser. I was sick the night I came home from the hospital and thought I was dying. I called my doctor, told him all I had started drinking after I made it home and he told me to STOP! My pouch would not hold all that liquid. I did and I stopped puking sometime before midnight. Even though I went back to work the second week, I can remember the first five or six weeks wondering "What have I done to my body?" Now I'm so glad I had it done and would do it again in a New York second. Hope you get to feeling better. Melinda

I am so sorry that you are having a tough time. You are a real trooper though and this wont get the best of you. You are doing better and you will feel 100% before you know it. You are still with us and every day is getting better. You're in my thoughts and I promise it will get better.

Thanks Doll, I'm getting better. I think I am anyways I'm just soooo ready to stop being sick to my stomach when I lay down, sit up, etc. My nose is working great. I can smell everything, even lipgloss !!! That is another reason I've been so sick to my stomach. I smell everything. My emotions have me so far down that right now I don't see any hope or a light at the end of this. If I don't get better can I kick you ? Love ya Girlie Tammy
